Google Allo is the worst possible chat app name

I don’t understand what Google is trying to do here.

Well, I do. They’re trying to take on other chat apps by shipping their own mediocre app with every Android device in the world. But Allo? Really?

I know it’s dumb to expect anything decent from Google nowadays. They run every good idea they have into the ground. But Allo? Cmon!

And the main feature: another damn way to ask Google how my sports team went? Seriously?

Gah, why can’t they just call it Gchat or Google Chat or something else that isn’t totally terrible. Gtxt, G2g.

Or bring something new to the table. Stickers? Big text? Images that you can draw on? This is the what an unfair advantage looks like and yet, thanks to Android, Allo will already have a foundation of users right out of the gate.
