Cave Story+ for Nintendo Switch
★★★★☆ — An updated indie darling
I’ve always been intrigued by Cave Story but had never gotten around to playing it prior to the game’s release on Switch. What a mistake.
A pioneer for the independent scene, Cave Story is the original indie platformer. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a structured, challenging, non-roguelike indie platformer that’ll last a decent amount of hours. It’s bright and colourful and a lot of fun.
