The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 launch kicks off Wednesday, August 3, at 1AM Sydney time — live from New York.

Rumour-wise the Note 7 will apparently have an iris scanner for security purposes and a dual-curved display. The Note 5 only had a curve on one side.

And no — you’re not reading that wrong — Samsung has decided to Microsoft-style skip the Galaxy Note 6 branding.

I look forward to trying the Galaxy Note 10 in 2017.
