So, is there really no way to plug Lightning EarPods into a Mac / MacBook?

To be honest, when the dust settles, removing the Lightning port from the iPhone is a mild inconvenience at best. I can use an adapter in my car and everywhere else I use Apple EarPods anyway. Is it annoying? Yes. Is it a deal-breaker? Not really. It literally has no impact on the way I use my iPhone, apart from little things like taking over the stereo of a car or party.

No, the real messed up thing about Lightning headphones is the fact that, currently, no Mac in the world has a Lightning port. Even the new MacBook relies on USB-C, not Lightning.

Apple is selling a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter, but your Mac isn’t accounted for.

Does Apple want people to carry two pairs of headphones? Is there an adapter coming? Should you just use old EarPods with the dumb new adapter? I don’t get it.
