Spotify is testing out lossless audio

The new option isn’t widely available yet, though will apparently cost double the regular monthly Spotify Premium subscription fee, like rival Tidal.

According to a statement sent to The Verge, Spotify is “always testing new products and offers but have no news to share at this time.”
