Yikes: Nintendo Switch’s left Joy-Con might have serious reception fault

If you were thinking about picking up a Nintendo Switch (like I was) you might want to check out this video, which shows an interrupted signal between the Nintendo Switch console and the right and left wireless Joy-Con controllers.

A number of other sites with review unit hardware from Nintendo are also reporting a similar issue with the Joy-Con controllers, particularly the left unit, disconnecting or acting in a spotty

If Nintendo can’t fix the issue with software (which, who knows, they could via a day 1 system patch) the problem could be disruptive for early adopters hoping to sneak in some time in Zelda’s open world.

The Nintendo Switch goes on sale March 3.
